ROLE 
I was brought on as a freelance product designer on the growth team to align cross-functional teams with the new design system. 
PROBLEM
The sales and marketing teams were producing campaigns and verticals that lacked consistency, brand cohesion and technical compatibility that resulted in bottlenecks. 
SOLUTION
Began the process of building and documenting a design system for campaigns, landing pages and commerce email use cases.
(NOTE: This project was halted half-way through due to mass layoffs.)
GOALS
Design a wide range of headers, features, footers and CTAs in light and dark mode to create a seamless user experience across all verticals and breakpoints. 

Our high-level goals were to:
1. Provide a guide as a resource documenting all of the components, use cases and best practices.
2. Create templates for faster turnarounds.
3. Continue to iterate as new use cases arose.
KICKOFF
Ran a current state assessment to audit and see the full portfolio as a snapshot, reviewing existing design assets, identifying pain points and discussing areas for improvement.

Round 1 of the landing page deck was in queue for stakeholder and user testing when project was halted.
