ROLE
I was one of the UI/UX Designers on this project when scrolling sites were all the rage.
PROBLEM
Users had a very bland, informational website that did not allow for interactivity or substance. They were not enticed with the brand or the portfolio.
SOLUTIONS
While this project began in 2015, we continued to build on it over the following 4 years, incorporating innovations like VR Matterport tours of every kind of apartment unit across the 300 property portfolio nationwide (over 100,000 units!!). We incorporated sophisticated mapping techniques and task flows using the new HTML5.
One of my favorite features I was a part of creating was an innovative way of searching for an apartment by floor (and further refined by price and number of bedrooms) so that potential residents with a higher budget would be more likely to lease at one of our properties rather than through a competitor because we could ensure the unit of their choice had a great view.
